that actually looks like a fantastic monitor...it's getting good reviews there on Newegg. Looks like a good choice for your budget. Put a checkmark next to that one, look around for a while longer, then when it's time to decide...go for it:D

I got an LG tv and vcr combo around 6 or 7 years ago and it's still chugging along like a trooper. So as far as I have seen they are quite reliable, just thought I'd throw that in there...

indigoflowAS,which lcd monitor do you have?
The Lg (in the link from newegg) have a 3 years Warranty.
The Warranty be caught around the world (like spain )or just in Usa(if i can use the warrantly around the world or just in usa)?

I am actually doing a lot of research, looking for a 20" to 24" monitor myself:)

I am willing to say that the warranty does include Europe...but I cannot be 100% sure. LG is a global company, so perhaps. Anyone else care to enlighten us?

Best of luck my friend...our dialogue must end for the time being, no internet where I'm going.

which lcd monitor you want to buy? or still you dont know what to buy?

Dell 2007WFP - $367
BenQ FP202W - $275
Samsung 205BW - $270
Viewsonic VX2025 - $330

As I posted earlier...these are the ones I am looking at for the 20" range. The LG you saw is also very interesting.

yes,the lg that i saw (in the newegg),the details of the lcd monitor like the details of the ACd
for example
the Pixel Pitch or Display Colors or Brightness
but the ms the Lg (8ms) better then Acd (14 ms ) and the Contrast Ratio the lg better (with 1:1400) then ACd(1:700) so after the comparison the lg better then Acd is not?

You have been putting everyone on, right? If you can figure that stuff out then you know more than 90% of the people who buy monitors.

thank you ,
i find a lcd monitor (lg) (it is from newegg):

what are you think about this lcd monitor?

I'm also looking for a LCD monitor, I want a 23 - 24", but the LG looks really good, I've have a 21" CRT LG for about 4 years now, and it's the best 21" i've seen. I've looked at it in the shops also and seems to be good value compared to others. It's just a shame they don't do it in a large size.

Service from LG is also excellent. Had a problem with the tube after about 18months, rang to get a replacement, and within 3days of calling I had a brand new monitor, not bad service I say. I would certainly recommed LG products.

Here's a link to another forum who have reviewd this product, hope it's OK to link to other forums.

He's a list from the same forum so you can compare:

The ACD uses a different panel, that the LG. From what I read the ACD panel is technically better, as the TN panel is an older version. However you've gotta look at the difference in price, and also warranty. LG offers 3years here in UK!! Apple only 1, unless u pay for apple care!

Hope that helps!

Sorry just realised I repeated an earlier post!! oh well

Get an Apple Cinema Display. They are simply the best you can get. And worth the money.

The problem of ACD is apple doesnot give warranty out from usa...
(The warranty doesnot be caught in countries like spain or france just in usa)

i just got the 20.1" LG L204WT, seriously about 5 minutes ago, and my god its amazing.

link

2000:1 contrast
5ms response

and i got it on sale at future shop for $560cdn, and thats with the $90 full 4yr warranty. i was expecting to spend over 700 for a new monitor, but this one was cheaper and had better specs. Definitely the best deal on the market today, go for one.
