I use it for follows ups and scheduled tasks, and combine it with my calendar by using Fantastical 2. Of course if anything requires more of a breakout of detail I would keep more info in something like OneNote etc.

So if someone needs something from me, or I know I need to do something, I'll just use 'hey Siri' on my watch. Or I'll setup repeating reminders for things like taxes, chores, etc. I'm a little Type A! But I don't like dropping the ball with clients....

Me too - Reminders (via Fantastical) and Calculator are my most used phone apps!

Thanks - that’s helpful. I do something similar with Things across all my devices. I like the way I can organize projects into different areas for a bit more organization. I just started using Siri to enter tasks and then saw that Reminders has a ton of new functionality with iOS13. So I’m trying to see if it’s worth switching or not.

(Probably off topic for this thread though - sorry to derail).

Not that it helps the original problem but I just use the calendar for all my tasks/events/etc. I have always found task/to-do/reminder software to be too limiting and why use 2 pieces of software when I can just use 1.

I like reminders because I can add them with my voice if I’m driving etc. That’s why I didn’t use anything else. I like fantastical because I can see my schedule and tasks in the same spot.

@akash.nu you can see your reminders on your Mac via iCloud.com or beta.icloud.com. It's an emergency step though, as they don't sort by date, they are some unsorted mess of reminders. But you cannot to them if you really need to in a pinch.
