So I have the sim free iPhone mini ordered 128gb green, tmobile phone 12 black 128gb on a data only plan (cheap as heck), iphone 12 pro blue 128gb AT&T, iphone 12 Pro Max graphite 128gb tmobile on a data only plan. To explain the data only plans, i did it because that was the only way to keep my very old tmobile plan. Thanks. I'll see if my family members want them or not because we also have an samsung note 20 ultra and fold 2 that are awesome.

I’m willing to help since I struggle with Apple decisions (although I’m one fewer than you right now,) but it would help to know what you want (how you use, relevant and irrelevant features) and why you ordered all of them?

You are the reason people have to wait till December for their iPhone order. Ridiculous really.
Blame Covid and also the staggered release. No way am I going to an Apple store here in the U.S. just to examine / compare stupid phones and risk dealing with selfish idiots arguing with staff about wearing masks indoors (happened when I picked up my AW6). What are people supposed to do?

Early bird gets the worm. The Max and Mini were available for launch day delivery and in store pick up well into late afternoon. It takes 5 seconds to order through the app, if people wanted them badly enough they should’ve ordered.

Id keep the regular 12. It may not have some of the pro's features but it is far lighter and that makes it more practical (for me at least) it also has an ideal size, but that may be subjective. And you save a few bucks.

One of the Apple stores I usually go to here in Southern California provide face masks if you forgot yours or don’t have one. Pretty convenient. Nobody’s ever argued that I’ve seen.

Pro Max is cool for an iPhone but it doesn't feel that special compared to the Fold 2.
I never understood how Android can come out with new phones; and they are easy to buy. But with iPhones, preorders sell out, are back ordered, etc. Why is this? Could never understand this.

What happens to iPhones that are returned? Seems like a lot of unnecessary e-waste. I made cardboard cutouts of the Pro and Pro Max to help me understand the size difference. Based on that I’m getting the Max for the first time. If it’s too big I’ll deal with it. If I don’t love the color I’ll deal with it. i can’t imagine explaining the horrors of the virus to kids years from now as having to order 4 iPhones because we couldn’t decide any other way.
