This thread strikes me as being created to brag about buying 4 at once, instead of really needing input that can’t be found under the obvious.
Anyone can buy 4 at once; especially if you put them on a credit card. But who the hell wants to do that and why? Also I believe some of these posts - like this- are probably nonsense. Just take it with a grain of salt 🧂

I never understood how Android can come out with new phones; and they are easy to buy. But with iPhones, preorders sell out, are back ordered, etc. Why is this? Could never understand this.
Apple created the modern smartphone in 2007. That earned them a cult following which still persists to this day. Many iPhone fanatics have never owned another brand of smartphone, and they will continue to praise Apple as being the best and downplay competing products.

All four!! Wow bet that was costly lol temporarily anyway

I would say the mini and Mac will give you the two differing experiences regarding battery life and usability.

I’d probably favour the pro and the mini if I were keeping two. The mini might be handy for days where you need that more compact phone. The max might be too big for every day use.

I bought a 12 pro (silver) on launch day and just initiated the return yesterday. They give you 2 weeks to return via fedex, so 4 weeks of decision time total. I’ll be receiving my 12 pro max (gold) and a 12 mini (black) on the 13th, and will ultimately keep one of them. I don’t think trying out the various sizes and returning the ones you don’t want is all that unusual. I do it with all sorts of items; clothes, electronics, random stuff on Amazon...

no idea what all the disbelief / hate is about.

What happens to iPhones that are returned? Seems like a lot of unnecessary e-waste. I made cardboard cutouts of the Pro and Pro Max to help me understand the size difference. Based on that I’m getting the Max for the first time. If it’s too big I’ll deal with it. If I don’t love the color I’ll deal with it. i can’t imagine explaining the horrors of the virus to kids years from now as having to order 4 iPhones because we couldn’t decide any other way.

I think Apple probably sells them as refurbished.

I'd keep all four personally. There's a use case for every iPhone 12 model this year.
I guess I didn't quite.explain the whole situation . My family and I have all four models.(on the way for.two) and the Samsung note ultra and fold 2. I have two daughters and a younger son and my beloved wife. So im.trying to decide which is best for whom. My wife and I will have two and one of my daughters just wants my beloved iphone 11 pro max

That explains a lot. You should have said that to begin with. Lol

But I want my family to actually use them to see which one they love the most

I think the fold.2 is the best but thats irrelevant if one of my daughter's want it lol

I'm genuinely surprised by this thread and the OP's purchases.

I would have thought buying one of each colour of every model was the better way to make a proper decision.
But I did that
