yeah i know im an idiot but somehow i deleted the weather app i have restored the device 3 times but nothing,i have searched everywhere but it has gone,any one got any ideas how to get it back thanks stroudy

If he/she were previously jailbroken you'd have to do a set up as new to get all your icons back.

Yeah, I was about to amend my reply. I was thinking you could go to settings>general>restrictions>enable restrictions> and then click on weather, but weather is not there. You might just have to restore your phone from a backup.
yeah the weather app is not there and i have restored the phone many times now but with no luck.is there anywhere i could get the original file
hmm i used a new ipsw when i jailbroke it but never set it up from new ill give that a shot cheers

How did you do that? In any case, restore it with stock Apple software and take it to an Apple store. If they can't put in the Weather icon back, then hurray new iPhone!

I accidentally did that once to some of my games ..
I Jailbroke my phone and installed CATEGORIES or something like that for my phone
When I restored it my apps were gone I couldnt get them back no matter how how many times I restored it..
then I discovered my apps were there... just "hidden" or "invisible"
so I had to re jailbreak my phone and install some app that makes all hidden apps visible again..
it found all my games again!!
thats all I could come up with for your problem..

I had this happen with Compass once. Rejailbreak it and restore the icon however you hid it (in my case it was SBSettings).
The solution is quite simple.
1. Restore your phone in iTunes using the official firmware.
2. Set up as a new phone (do not restore from backup).
If you do this, it is not possible for any change you made before the restore to persist.

i jail broke it then used an app called categories put the weather in a categorie then deleted the app
I have the feeling that you care more about your jailbreak than you do about the Weather app henceforth, you are restoring from a jailbroken file instead of an official file. Just do everything through iTunes and don't jailbreak it in the process.
Have you tried the above method, but just enable it, then close out, then go back in and disable it. Don't worry about selecting the weather icon. If anything will bring it back, this should.
