Bryan, the way exist... It's a software lock and each software lock, encryption, etc etc have a way do remove it, it's an IT rule :)

Anyway, company HR don't want to proceed in any way, they told us "if there's a way to unlock it's OK, otherwise,,, boh" .... And I'm sure that they haven't learn the lesson and They'll receive back other phone in this situation (I'm just trying to help them, but phone support and managing is not my role ;) )

It's a lock on Apple's servers, not the software on the phone. Only way to get it unlocked is with Apple and they don't seem to really be willing to do that. Best bet would be to go in there with the receipts for all phones and the information of the employees that had them and plead your case.

Sorry but... Apple server must receive some information during phone configuration process, that check if phone is configured with some Apple ID.

Removing this information phone can be configured as a new phone, the only thing is to find how to remove it.

Anyway, also with recipt Apple standard reply is "We can't do anything, We're sorry"....

Then the company is out of luck and now owns several paperweights.

Maybe try taking the employees to court.

Hehe, as told They don't wan't to proceed in this way, it's easiast and cheapest to keep this phone until mobile provide contract end, then They'll send Them back (maybe in one or 2 year).

I'm not sure what they'll get out of sending them back..the carrier won't give them the money for them?

Honestly.... I don't know, it's just a possibility in my mind, I'm not in HR mind :)

Maybe They'll keep them as precious paperweight :)

javiside, can you please explain a little bit more. Specifically, when (on which stage in iPhone) I should take screen shot? I mean, when it is on activation lock screen or when dialing 112 or ...?

Has anyone other than javiside had success in bypassing?

If I'm remembering this doesn't work.

Protip: Go out and buy an iPhone yourself and turn this one in.

This is fake. There is a reason the activation lock is there. It's there so no one can get around it. It's anti-theft. As such, anyone asking how to get around it, looks like they stole an iPhone or has desires to steal iPhones.

Sure, go ahead tell me people can get around it. Maybe 1 or 2 can, but for the rest of us normal people, this activation lock is the rule of the land.

Hi All,

I have a problem in my company.

A lot of employee are going out of company and some of Them give back the company iphone with Apple ID configured.
We try to reach them, but obviously They provide a lot of excuse (I don't remember password, is not my account, I don't want to give You my password, etc etc), and We have some (4) iphone 5 locked by activation lock.

Unfortunately, who collect the phone already try to restore them in DFU mode, so now they are completely wipe, except for Apple ID and we can't try solution proposed in video.

We also ask to Apple store, providing receipt from phone service provider (TIM and Vodafone), but They told that there's no way to wipe phone to configure as new one.

But... I know that there's someone in Apple who know how to bypass activation lock, He told me that He already do it on some ipad, but He ask me money and obviously company never give money to this guy ....

So, do You know what I can do to fix this phone? Otherwise I'll give them back to HR and They will have a nice papaerweight :)

Thanks

Do not listen to incompetent people in here. I am very familiar with the procedure of Apple Activation lock. It is very much removable, with you being an owner of the device, you can certainly have this removed. Call AppleCare ask for an Senior Specialist in the iOS department, explain your situation. Email/Fax in your receipts they will be able to remove the block and have you restore the iPhone. Note: It will take a few days, but the senior specialist call you with an update and the steps to do a software restore.

I finally bypassed the activation screen ios 7.1 v. final

The OP is obviously making up this story to try to get stolen or found devices iCloud bypassed and resold for more instead of trying to return them. There is a reason there are activation locks, to prevent theft. Anyone trying to get around a theft prevention mechanism will be labeled as a thief regardless of intention.

I'd be willing to bet the op has no proof of purchase or receipt for the devices. Further evidence of this is the fact that OP has only created 1 thread on this forum, this one about iCloud bypass. If that's not suspicious enough.

Why can't the mods just delete this thread? I've reported it before...

IF the op's story is true (lol) you should have done better hiring employees. Most employees won't steal the device and you should have asked them to unlock it and held their last paycheck or something. There were ways to get around this problem. It's your own fault. (On the extremely rare chance it's true LOL) Most employees think their job is worth more than a stupid phone.

It's a senior advisor, not a senior specialist. Asking for a senior specialist will likely confuse the hell out of them.

Before giving a device to an employee, sign in to a specially-made Apple ID, turn on Find My iPhone, and NEVER give the employees the password. That way, they will never be able to sign out and put their own account on. Also, keep the receipts of every iOS device you purchase for the company.

You are making quite a few assumptions about the OP. Why does this being his only thread matter? Most people don't come to a forum until they have a problem and want help. He's not doing anything illicit or breaking forum rules as far as I'm aware. Quit trying to be a mini mod.

Anyway, I work in a school system that supplies iPads on a 1:1 basis to students. We have recently had a nightmare of activation locks upon them returning the iPad over the summer. Thankfully apple has had a much more understanding approach than you regarding this matter.

All you have to do if you are a corporate or education institution, is to call the appropriate phone number. If the OP calls the corporate sales number and says that he already has the product purchased and needs tech support, he will get transferred to someone who can help. He must have the POs for the iDevices purchased and the serials for the activation locked devices. It will take 3-5 days, but apple is willing and able to help corporate and education institutions.

Not trying to be a mini mod. Just trying to call it out for what it likely is. The odds of someone having a legitimate reason to unlock an iCloud locked device is so slim... More than likely it was found or stolen.

As said above, A corporation should have put in their own iCloud passwords and turned find my iPhone on so that it could never be locked out of. Any corporation with IT that don't even know that is not gonna last long. That's the reason to be skeptical. Lol. Anyways :p.

help needed

Hi every one (sorry for my bad English) well i finally bypassed the activation screen with the emergency call method (like the ios 7.0.6 or the 7.1 betas) but this is the final version (with the green circle phone dial)
ok, i was able to bypassing this screen to the contacts, first it shows the downside bar with 4 little icons, keyboard, etc. then in the second try, it shows the blue screen with all the icons enabled, after that i follow the others steps, add new contact, then select new photo and then i press the block contact like in the past tutorials, (3 clicks with voice over) but when i pressed 3 times block contact instead of show the applications and bypass the screen it returned to the emergency call screen.. i guess apple patch that :S i was so close!! but i finally pass the emergency call maybe if we try this somebody will find other way to complete bypass...

So, this is what i did, first i downloaded (obviously) the ios iPhone6,1_7.1_11D167_Restore.ipsw then i downloaded the iPhone6,1_7.0.4_11B554a_Restore2.ipsw and the iPhone3,1_7.0.4_11B554a_Restore.ipsw then i renamed the 3 files to zip (you know to see the files) and then i opened the 7.1 final and delete the 058-4122-002.dmg (i copied the name) and then i opened the other file iphone3,1 (i think this is for the iphone 4 or 4s) and i extracted the 058-1056-002.dmg and renamed this file to 058-4122-002.dmg and then add it to the 7.1 final zip then i renamed this to ipsw agan and then restored the phone, ... i don't know what is this file or what changes in the iphone's IOS.

I know some old ipsw and dmgs can be decrypt maybe you know what is this or what is inside, (i tried to change the others 2 files but itunes showed errors) i just change the other file because i was able to and with no errors,(maybe we can edit this file or add something).

After restored the phone, i downloaded and installed ifunbox 2014 and i use this program to filled out completely the iphones memory (like 13 gb) i copied 13gb of files or movies etc to the iphone and when there was lije 300kb free in the iphone i started to make print screens with the home and power buttons, I had the feeling that if the iphone ran out of memory some bug will appear. well that all, i changed the 058-4122-002.dmg file with a lot of others ios (like 7.0.4, 7.0.6, 7.0.1, 7.1 betas but i dont remember witch one allowed me to enable the buttons but i think it was the 7.0.4 or the one inside of iPhone3,1_7.0.4_11B554a_Restore.ipsw.

I hope this help you and spread the word and try it i hope this help us to bypass the activation screen, at least is a step outside of the activation screen. Thanks =)

was there any error you faced with this downgrade ?
because i am going to downgrade mine today.
