Well, I've got some of my problems narrowed down. Apparently it's fairly common, and the most immediate solution is to disable HyperV from the command line.
I did that, and, sure enough, it worked. My screen no longer blinks or changes colors.
But now I can't play videos. Go fig.
edit: okay, that was random. Now I can again. Though it's giving the screen that light green overcast. Though I figured out it's only in new Universal apps. Edge, Netflix, and Movies and TV all do it. But if I play a video in oldschool Windows Media Player? No problems.
I'm relieved in the sense that I now know it's a software problem. Annoyed because how the hell did this manage to slip by Q&A?
edit twah: and another problem. Sometimes when I play a video, it won't release its hold on the sound card. It'll kill all sound throughout the system, meaning it won't allow me to play music or video, and I'll have to reboot the computer to get it back up.
Yeah, I think I've got enough info to go bitching to MS about it now.
