My gaming rig is almost 4 years old and runs many many current games 1080p/epic/60+fps steady...

must have cost $600 years ago (not including the fancy case I upgraded to)....

Cheaper to get a PC than try to max out a Mac...

Therefore how does this sound for a start point ?

That's fairly close to what I am running right now. I'm running most of my games at 4K 60+ FPS on high or ultra settings. Some newer games dip into the 40 FPS range.

That PS is a bit overkill though unless you plan on doing SLI at some point.
