I wish I could take it back and get a new model. The new models will probably sell for the same price, so I feel like I´ve paid way over price for this.

No one screwed you so stop complaining about being screwed. You got exactly what you paid for, a very capable new computer. Your computer is no less capable than when you bought it. Even if a new model comes out your computer will still do everything it did before.

MacRumors may not be scientific research, but last time I called Apple and asked "So exactly when will the new blah-blah be released?" they told me "Why, a week from Thursday at 9:00AM, sir or ma'am as the case may be" right? MacRumors is as good a guess as any.

You are right in a way that we don't know when they will be released. But the key is we know they are coming and it could be this month or next too. I am waiting for the MBA because I read and researched about the changes. I have no need for it immediately as I thought I did, so I am gonna wait it out a little longer. If all else fails and it's announced for Sept, I most likely go get a updated 13" MBP and just deal with it like I did my old one.

No, the sales would go down of course, but people would still buy it. At least I would have, if I would have know the new models come in two months. BUT NOT, if they will come in few weeks. And maybe for those two months they could lower the price a littlebit, so people who would be tired to wait two months would get it immediately littlebit cheaper. That would be fair.

(1) Keep your MBA and be happy -- even if it is updated
(2) Call your reseller to inquire about their return policy, and return it if possible.

The only definite mistake you appear to have made was purchasing your new Mac from a reseller that doesn't appear to give you *two weeks* to return it for any reason, without charging a restock fee.
