Running iOS 10 on my iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2. Both are fine except for a few odd bugs every blue moon. Weird though, I don't think I seen anyone with the older devices struggling with iOS 10 like the iPhone 4 and iPad 2 did with iOS 7-9.

Yes, compared to my 6s and 7 my 6 Plus doesn't perform that great, even for very general thingsI'm sorry but my 6 Plus runs like crap on iOS 10. I don't even want to begin to think what those with a 4S/5/5S are putting up with on the same OS. 4S will almost certainly be the next to get dropped, possibly also the 5 too.

I have a 5S and most of the "issues" I have areprpbsy from not doing a clean install since I first got my 5S (since iOS 9 days.) so no complaints here!
That seems like somewhat of a generalization given that there are plenty of people that only do OTA updates and their devices are just fine.I think this is actually more of a concern than people are recognising. It seems the OTA update service really isn't very good and doesn't clean up after itself very well. Years of OTA updates are only going to slow a device. Apple should recommend an iTunes update be done every other update, or at least when a whole new version comes out.

So basically "could" or perhaps "would" rather than "will".IOS 11 will slow down the iPhone 5S and iPhone 6, iPad Air 1 , mini 2 , mini 3 , iPod touch 6. Because these devices only have 1 gb of ram .

All 64 bit devices will be compatible including the iPod touch 6In a way I hope iOS 11 doesn't include iPod Touch 6th Gen-it's not too bad in iOS 10 however when you're using an iPad with 2GB of RAM & iPhone with 3GB of RAM you notice the speed differences.

Is that information coming from Apple or has been confirmed somehow? All 64 bit devices will be compatible including the iPod touch 6

Do you think that Apple will support 32 bit devices this year ???? I think it won'tIs that information coming from Apple or has been confirmed somehow?
So that's basically to say you think that that would be the case, no that it "will" be the case.Do you think that Apple will support 32 bit devices this year ???? I think it won't
Anyway your claim was all 64 bit devices would be supported, not that ONLY 64 bit devices would be supportedDo you think that Apple will support 32 bit devices this year ???? I think it won't
Thanks for correct my postAnyway your claim was all 64 bit devices would be supported, not that ONLY 64 bit devices would be supported
It willSo that's basically to say you think that that would be the case, no that it "will" be the case.
Yeah, that's not how it works, as you yourself have clarified. Thanks for correct my post

It will
They might make the cutHopefully the 7 and 7 Plus make the cut. Crossing my fingers!
Actually anything but a clean install AND creating a new iCloud account can create residual issues, as iCloud syncing could cause an issue. But really, I'm aiming to point out the extremity of this line of thinking...Even through iTunes, anything but a clean install can create residual issues. Not to mention that these issues aren't particular to one generation of devices, as this has happened since the beginning.
I don't think that line of thinking is as extreme as you think. My point was that every iteration of the iPhone has always had issues with iOS platforms, every time a new device comes out it tends to have issues with iOS software. Unless it is as mentioned a clean install.Actually anything but a clean install AND creating a new iCloud account can create residual issues, as iCloud syncing could cause an issue. WWDC is coming !!! 4 months for iPhone 5,5C ,iPad 4 gen get dropped .June 5 ! It's time to move on Apple . Just 64 bit !
