Sounds like the same silly users who would call Mac OS X “ecks “ or “icks “ for the Germans. I’m sure Apple is aware of the fact that our brain doesn’t necessarily work in the same way that a marketing person’s sales pitch is going.
Yep I do it for that one too.

I just can’t get used to the inconsistency, especially when XS is written as both letters. My brain just won’t do it. It won’t see X as a number and S as a letter when they’re combined like that. Sometimes I even have to consciously force myself not to see XS as “extra small”.

The branding on the logo helps, when the S is in a separate box. But written as plain text... nope.

I honestly can’t handle the new name scheme.

Ten S, Ex S, extra small, extra small MAX, Ex s MAX,

My brains all over the place.

I might just start saying the “big iPhone” and the “nine ninety nine iPhone”

I’ve been saying “Ex are” for the XR then adding “which is the cheap one” to make myself clear. Ex R sticks in my brain more bc of Some medicines that are extended release

My wife asked me what an extra small max phone is.

Apple has dropped a bollock here.

Terrible branding by Apple. You’d think with all their money and marketing people, they would have realised there’d be confusion.

The 's' is lowercased and sort of a letter mark like it always has been since the 3Gs.
Do you think someone should tell Apple about that. ;)

My brain processes the "eX S" as "excess" - as in - excessively priced! Hahaa
