I like apple and im a fan of there devices but you have to admit

They are way to cocky and act as if they invented and did all this amazing stuff when there actually farther behind than alot of phones. Ipod is best music player ill give them that but they act as if there first to do things like video chat with face they said its never been done or like this! I will give them that they make things easy and accessible they just refine what others already did for them.

Even ios5 they act as if omg notifications easy to access its so amazing when android had it for a while.

Ok so say you are selling something and you want to make money... Are you going to stand up in front of a crowd and say; "well guys this has been done before but you should really buy mine" Or are you going to make it seem like the best thing ever created?

Answer that question and you'll see what Apple does and clearly its working because I dont see people lining up for days for other phones or tablets.... I'm not an Apple cheerleader but any fool can see that their marketing techniques are genius.

You have a point they dont invent new things but they make existing products better and more appealing to the masses... Before the iPhone how many fully touch screen phones were out there that were mainstream? there were a few sure but not that many... now you cant walk a block without seeing someone holding a touch screen phone, every manufacturer makes touch screen phones non-stop.

Same with tablets before the iPad how many people were using tablets running clunky windows... not too many.... Apple said hey lets put a mobile operating system and boom the tablet market took off, now you are on the train or bus and see a few people using tablets

I hope you learned a valuable business lesson here

Sometimes making things easy and accessible is just as revolutionary as coming up with the original idea. Ideas are cheap.

There is a reason nobody used video chat before FaceTime.

How about putting in some facts here? Android is a clear two years behind Apple in it's development curve, but thats not to say they won't catch up. I have friends who have Android phones and they look great. Where Apple wins hands down (for me anyway) is the seamless integration of it's devices.

Android developers are working hard, and I'm not going to knock their stuff just because I happen to prefer Apple.

We will see how it all pans out over the coming months and years....Will android be able to have an app selection to rival that of Apple's? Maybe. For now you buy what you prefer. As pointed out above, it would be pretty dumb of Apple not to Big Up it's products....Basic marketing, just look at the fuss over the 4S.

Before the first iPhone was launched, please tell us what device it was copying :confused: No such device existed. Other manufacturers put out what they put out after Apple paved the way.

Each platform of course has their own features, and they all do it in their own way, and they market these features and phones as such. No, the iPhone was not the first device to offer a front facing camera, but many I knew that had them had no idea what to do with them. Facetime was the first to market and integrate a video call feature the way they had.

Notification bar may not be new, and they didn't make it the killer app feature it is for me.....but they definitely made it look better. Naturally they were not the first to come up with the voice activated features, but please name another phone that answers you back and confirms what you say.

I have to admit, they are not the first at everything, but when they offer a feature, they get it right the first time, and thats what matters.

I think hp/compaq ipaq was maybe a generation away from being some facsimile of what the iPhone is today. IMO hp washes leaning on the tree looking for the forest.
Apple heard the short comings of RIM and PDAs.
Apple Combined and took things 1 step further.
I loved my ipaq in 2003/4.

Lol @ these pointless efforts to make their cheap plastic laggy pieces of Shitroids look better just because they're jealous.

Why do people always think when they say "I'm an Apple fanboy." their criticism is more valid?
