I got my case and was excited to install it but I'm kinda disappointed that the case cracked around the headphone jack when I trying to put it on. :\

Shoot us a note at hello [at] outpostlabs.com. We had a few cases from the first batch that appeared to have a molding defect (knit line) in this area. We have since corrected the issue and would be happy to send you a replacement!

hope you plan to modify for the iphone5S, ill order once its confirmed the dual led doesnt cause issues with the case.

I will always prefer a full on case, and wouldn't feel safe putting my cards/ID, etc. attached to my phone EVER, but for those that are into that, this is so cool. Very neat design and product!

Received mine yesterday, so far I love it, great product. It slipped right on to the phone. Pulling the debit card out takes a little practice but not too hard to get down pat. I think this is a keeper.

Apologies if this has been said above, does the credit cards on my iPhone have the potential to scratch or mar the surface?

Yes, that's why I have a matte back protector on my iPhone plus this case. Benjamin also suggested to slide the cards in a way that the numbers are facing away from your iPhone's surface to avoid scratches.

I'm not a big fan of the "wallet cases" because if I loose my phone I loose my card as well, plus they are always bulky as hell…

said that, i would give yours a try because of two reasons:

1. It's good looking! And it's not really a case, its a wallet on the phone! hahaha

2. Its made by a member of this forum! I would love to support you guys!

This is a great case idea (and cool name too!)

I am wondering if its possible to cover the other 2 corners, for better drop protection. I don't really worry about scratches, but usually use a case in case of drops.

I love having my speck card case for my iphone 5 but it makes the phone huge. I would like to order one of these but I want to make sure it will work for 5S since I will definitely be getting the 5S next week.

It looks like Apple released the engineering drawings last night. The camera, rear mic, and flash are all in the same positions as before. The flash is now 5.06mm tall instead of 3.70mm. Our clearance is enough that this shouldn't be a problem. Having a blackout ring around the flash is the most critical part, and the Remora has that.

Other case manufactureres are saying flat out their 5 cases fit the 5S. Perhaps they already have access to a 5S, but given that I don't actualy have one in front of me I have to say I'm 99% sure it will work, but not 100% sure. Of course, I can be sure that we'll refund your order if there are any compatibility issues.

It could. We try to talk to this in our FAQ, take a peek under "Will the sliding cards cause damage to my phone?"

Great question - we have had a few comments about this. I actually drew up a design that covers four corners - it looks something like a sharp "S" profile when viewed from the back. Do you all think this would be a valuable variation? Or is the uniqueness of a two-corner concept really the main draw? I would love some feedback on this!

Yep, it's the main reason I'm not buying the current case. Having said that, I would probably get the new leather Apple case :(. So not your target audience

Probably an X where the middle becomes the space for the finger and it also gives two click zones with an overall of four grab areas.

I think the main draw is that this is the slimmest 'wallet case' available.

The 2-corner concept is not really a draw to me at least, for me it is the main detriment of the case- I don't care about small scuffs and scratches from day to day use, I use a case mainly for insurance against drops.

The way I see it, a 4-corner case would provide just as much impact protection as any other regular case, yet still provide the ability to hold a couple of cards.

Thanks!

Agree. I'd prefer it cover all 4 corners.

Update.

Case cracked at top and bottom while trying to remove the thing from my phone. I love the concept and wish it would have worked out. Sorry bro, but I can't recommend this case to anyone.

Sorry about this bluesboy77! For our first batch of parts we had to work through some molding issues with our supplier. In some cases, color pigmentation or weld lines were actually affecting the strength of the material. I'd be more than happy to send you a free replacement on us (or full refund) - just shoot me an email ben [at] outpostlabs.com.

Just found this thread and checked out the website. Looks great! Any plans to make one that works with the new 5c?

Awesome! I think we likely will. Functionally there shouldn't be a problem, the question would be what colors would we offer. Would it be better to match the 5c colors, or offer alternatives?

this is super cool looking. I go through stages of using it naked vs using a case but I have never been able to find a wallet case that I have liked. They don't seem to work that well.

This one looks awesome and I will probably have to give this one a try!

Thanks Ben, I'll shoot you an email, I really love the case other than the cracking part.

So if you think this will fit the 5S ill order one today.

Saw this on huckberry and loved the design! I am a minimalist type of guy so this looks like it fits the bill perfectly.

If I need more carrying power, ill just couple it with my saddleback wallet :D

Has anyone ordered this? What do you think?

I'm very interested but wondering if it will meet my needs. I checked the site and it mentions it can only fit 2 cards so I'm wondering if it will fit:
- one CC
- Drivers License (isn't this thinner than a CC?)
- Metrocard (paper thin)
- Work ID (equivalent to a CC)

Any thoughts? I'm assuming no but I figure I ask.

Thanks in advance!

not a chance. you'd need the thicker case like a incipio storaway or something.
