Intent was to be clear, which can indeed come across as being harsh which was not the intent.

Installing a clean version of mojave was the instinctive thing to do and is what I would have done on a PC.
This would have resulted in the same issue of focusing on an assumed situation as opposed to asking for help on the actual problem.

OpenCore is a UEFI application and operates in a totally different space from the OS. Reinstalling Windows, Linux or any other OS to resolve implementation issues with such a UEFI application is almost certain to be futile. There may be instances where this may be needed, but this is not likely in almost every case.

Main takeaway, regardless of OS or general situation for that matter, is to always ask or give information about the actual problem as opposed to just the assumed solution.
