I do want the 13" but the 11" is just cool. Plus I read the girls like it.

I don't think girls liking the 11" MBA will be of any good. After all the girl should be interested in you as opposing to your computer. Probably will run away with your MBA and they'll live happily ever after

I actually would get that if Apple offered it, Best of both worlds, maybe....

Nope. Then you'd have people complain its too big, or too small, or too slow, or too hot, or too something. The only people that are happy no matter what the model are Apple shareholders... :D

Oh, and one more warning, the MBA 11" is more of a guy magnet than a chick magnet....... girls will only coo over it and ask questions while guys would want to hold it and touch it...... just a warning. I would guess the guy:girl ratio is like 3:1

I keep going back and forth

I went to Best Buy tonight to play with both and attempt to make my final decision and I just can't quite get there.

Next to the 11" the 13" just looks awkward, like an adolescent dog... The proportions just don't seem right. The 11" is a work of art. But despite loving the aesthetics of the 11" and knowing that the 2010 model was perfect for me, I can't get past the idea of getting almost 35% more battery life and 24% more screen real-estate for less than 8% more money.

Basically I want the 11" but my brain won't let me... I guess this is a good problem to have.

The way I rationalized it was that I will spend a lot more time working on my MBA than carrying it. So the extra effort of carrying the extra size/weight was outweighed by the extra battery life and screen real estate.

But that's me. Im funny that way... :D

Yes that is a big issue for me. I want the 11" but the better battery life of the 13" is making me hesitate. As for the screen it doesn't really matter because once you get use to it, its not a problem. I've used many different screen sizes and get by from 11.2", 12.1", 13.3", 15", 15.4", 15.6", 16", 17", 17.3" 20", 21" 22", 24", 27". Basically almost the whole spectrum

Had a 13" RevA and a RevB, then got an 11" RevD and will never go back! I may have this one sold, so I'll get a RevE (if that's what they are now called) 11" Love the size and the screen really doesn't seem that small compared with the 13. So, I'd get the 11!

Just my opinion though.

Well I'm sure the apple store hates me but had the 13" and was missing that ultra portable feel for surfing in bed etc. so returned for ultimate 11.

No go with the 11 for me - I just found that the smaller screen real estate and battery drain was a deal killer for me so returning the 11 and going back to the 13" as a keeper.

If all your doing is surfing the net 11" may be ok but iWork, photo work, and most everything was a bit tougher to do and see on the 11". Unfortunately I just couldn't tell at the store until I got it home and loaded my apps like photoshop but I am 100% confident in my decision now.

For me, the 13" is the perfect partner with my iPad 2. 11" MBA would be too small and nearly exactly the same size as the 11" screen... so I'll just go with my 13" :D

Lol..the 13" is a no brainer for me (11" is too small to work on IMHO...but I work with Graphics often). The 11" is definitely a cool size...but I feel way too cramped on it.

The 13" i5 vs i7 discussion is the harder question for me...

11" for me

I have the 13" 2010 ultimate. I've always had an eye on the 11" though. Something about it just seemed like the sweet spot for me... If the goal of the Air is to be compact, light and full featured then the 11" accomplishes that a bit more (for me, at least). So, when the refresh came I ordered the 11" ultimate. The 13" is going to my wife and we'll sell her Air.

I'm a bit nervous about the heat of the i7 in the 11" form factor but, rather than worrying a bunch because of a few posts here, I'll wait to get my hands on it and see for myself with my usage patterns.

Just checked my order status and it is being "prepared for shipment"! Yay! Waiting sucks (firstworldproblem, I know).

Truly, I think you can't go wrong either way.

Well said! I had the same dilemma, decided to go for i7.
