that's it....I'm waiting till Feb 20th.
:D :apple:

I'm waiting at least a couple days to see if this Feb 20th thing becomes a bit more substantiated anyway. It wouldn't be the first time Apple made a big announcement in late February.

But I agree strongly with the others who have said waiting isn't worth it. You can indeed play the waiting game forever, and we all know the waiting game sucks. I can play it for a while provided that I have a real, fixed date I'm waiting for (ie. Macworld), but waiting for some future possibility that could happen as early as next week or as late as June is not nearly as much fun. The new LED-backlight laptop screens, for example, sound like a good thing to wait for, but it could easily be 6 months, maybe a year before those hit the MacBook line.

What we need is an internet support group for people trying to hold off buying Apple products. One day at a time, friends.

Don't wait. I'm never buying a machine right after an update again. I bought my powerbook 15" right when they went to 1.5Ghz, and I've had to have it repaired about 8 billion times. It's partly broken at the moment as a matter of fact. And I baby this thing.

The Applecare guy I called yesterday wouldn't help me, but as soon as I get it fixed I'm ebaying it and buying a Macbook. The high end white one with 2gigs and applecare. It will be sweet.
