Change the colors and I’d be interested for sure. More features on the higher end would make the decision tough though as I prefer to have the latest and greatest.

Oh for sure.... the colors were unique, but still a tad too pastel.

I'd jump. I'm pretty mad at Apple but the blue 5c was my first iPhone. It was unique, pretty, and I loved how it felt in hand.

Priced right, I could see myself going for this device.

LCD, no wireless charging, perhaps a less efficient face identifier and I'd still be okay with it. I'd prefer touch ID but that seems doubtful. I'd like the headphone jack back but that's nil. This is just a rumor, so we'll see.

Yeah and 5C was not at all loved by users, remember? Apple discontinued it shortly. I don’t think plastic back is a thing anymore. It’s either metal or glass now.

THIS
The plastic back would work with qi charging. It’s got that going for it.

Whatever for are you mad at Apple? Is it ios 11?

Wouldn't an Xc limit what you can do with your phone compared to if you had an X? When I had my 5C, I felt "gypped" because I didn't have the awesome camera features because it was a cheaper phone.

Xc as a phone with same specs as newest phone is what would be great.

And that's usually what Apple does for those who don't purchase the larger iPhone models. The iPhone Plus models are always known to have the better camera and more exclusive features than the smaller iPhone. Apple wants the consumer to purchase the larger, more expensive iPhone for obvious reasons.

However, there are some who don't care about the exclusive features or want an iPhone that large, and they would happily settle for something similar to the 5C or 4.7 inch iPhone models in trade of a smaller form
Factor.

Not to rehash and make a huge venting post but the modem variances upset me. The Intel doesn't hold onto low signal areas and the Qualcomm is missing antennas to be on par with Intel.

Right now I'm using a V30.

IOS 11 isn't the greatest and I dislike the control center function but not having a device that can work where I need it to is worse.

I think a 6s/7/8 in a colorful body like the 5c would make for a nice device. It wouldn't have the best specs but just like with my 5c, I'd feel happy. Not sure why but that blue and green color give me joy. In the sea of dark and muted tones, certain pastel colors seem to really catch my eye.

I take out my 5c to update apps and with tempered glass, the same color as the back, on the front it's still hands down the prettiest device I've ever owned. Considering almost everything I own is black, you can say it was a joyful little one off.

I would definitely get a newer iteration as I want a green one instead of blue this time.

Or maybe another blue one!

Take away the dual camera for additional cost savings and use LCD and this could actually happen. I doubt I’d ever get one but I liked the 5c. I have a white one on display in my office.

You're asking for a cheaper version of iPhone 8. It may happen, but I hope they'll keep a 4''model in the lineup as the cheaper option. A mid range between the SE and X could be the 8C you're advocating for. I always use a case so I don't care about colors, but I'd like a cheaper phone. The thing I didn't like about the 5C was the measly 8GB storage, but apart from that it was a good choice for a lot of people

Cool thanks.
Yeah no need to vent and rehash :D you certainly don't want the defensive posts that can come back

Yeah that 8gb move was garbage. It started with 16gb for $550, and then they moved it to 8gb when it went to $450..... I'm happy Apple has finally come around to offering 32 GB standard. without Live Photos on, and video at 720p, it's great.

In a heartbeat. These are almost too sexy, I feel like people wouldn't buy the flagships.

They marketed the 5c so terribly.... those commercials were lame. All they showed were eccentric people calling other people... they weren't "cool" enough.

They should have gone full force with the 5c being a premium product. (Like the spinny robots spraying stuff making it look premium). Or had some bad-*** commercial like they did for the jet black 7.

...and people would still buy the glass and metal... whatever is Apple's best they'll buy if they are the sort to have $1000 expendable. It's fascinating to me that people can drop $1000 on a cellphone. (Of course I also felt that way about $200 on a contract $650 phone.... maybe I'm just a miser)

The Xc is a great concept but doubtful because of the current costs of the technology. The biggest barrier/complaint about the X is the price, but the tech doesn’t come cheap (and keep margins for Apple). Of course it would be nice to have an X that is cheap but the plastic and LCD only save so much money. It’s more likely to come out, if at all, a couple years down when the economics work for Apple. Even as a current X owner, I wouldn’t feel one way or another if it came out. The concept is a cool looking phone. Everyone can keep hoping, but this one isn’t one of the stronger rumors.

I upgraded to the 6s because I had to. Even in its thinner height, the 5c felt bulky. Then again that is in comparison to having my 6S in my hands. I'm not going to be the kind of person who upgrades because a new model comes out. Heck, I am currently using a five year old MBP that has doubled the age of my first MBP. My old one might have been considered a "lemon".
