That's what I ordered. I too find it hard to financially justify the i9 + Vega + SSD that so many people seem to be ordering. I ordered an i5/Vega/512GB SSD, with a student discount, and I still feel bad about how much I spent.
I’m still trying to find a comparison of the i5 vs i9 to justify that steep price jump ... Canadian prices are painful
 
While I know this is an i9 video, talking about the vega 48, what do you guys think, will the performance for this games be the same with the i5? Have a look at this video.
Without watching the video (I’m about to do so, and will update this post if I have anything to add), I can tell you that most games are GPU-bound, not CPU-bound (i.e. the limiting factor with most games is the GPU).

While there are some games that are CPU-bound, there aren’t many, and most games should run at the same speed with the i5 and with the i9 (unless you run the games at a very low resolution, which there wouldn’t be much reason for doing).
