Does it not seem odd the original post was complaining about a slow machine but now having slow drives is preferable to SSD?

Tech is developing 24/7 anyway, your SSD is slow and small compared to the SSDs we'll see in couple years.

So will cpus, memory, displays, etc, so with your logic you will always be waiting for the next best thing but never get it.
