I've found the book selection on iBookstore to be pretty limited thus far.

I had a list of about 10 books I'd hoped to buy, books that were all available for Kindle, and only 3 of them were available on iBookstore. Doh!

Okay but can we give Apple just a little bit of slack... Amazons ebook store has been around for quite some time and the iBook Store what? 8 hours or so? Somehow I think the selections will fill up quite quickly if the press and initial user experiences are any indication. Publishers not on the store will be crying to get in once worldwide sales ramp up **and** international iBook Store negotiations start getting finalized (not an easy feat mind you - this could take some time and lots of people aren't gonna wanna hear it but remember iTunes Music didn't go international overnight either).

I am still debating weather using Kindle or the new iBook app for reading. As much as I like the iBook interface I like the ability of having my books among several methods of access such as the iPad, iPhone, computer. I hope apple at some point at a minimal allows us to read the books through a PC/Mac.

Yeah, I recognize that the iBookstore will progress. My comment was merely a reference point for those who wonder.

I've been reading on my iPad for a couple hours now, and it's a joy to read on. Really. I love it!

I love it too, although I'm disappointed in the book selection so far...was looking for Stieg Larsson, but there are no books yet. All in all, I didn't want the iPad when I first saw the announcement, but after a stop at my local Apple store today I walked out with one and I LOVE it!!!
