it just needs to be compatible with a microphone. Truphone works on the Touch. It would seem that iCall doesn't.

I thought only the second generation Touch supported a microphone. In fact, the Truphone description in the app store says that a second generation Touch is required.

Fair comment. I hadn't been generation specific nor had I been aware the previous poster was referencing a 1st generation Touch.
