Is it wrong to be glad that others are experiencing this sort of issue too? Lol :D

Bought and upgraded from a 2012 13” to a 2018 13”, but Apple ID is showing it as a 15”, it kept bugging me but the serial number is legit, so I haven’t removed it from my authorised devices just yet.

Didn’t realize this thread, the same issue is also happening to me. My MBP 15” is showing up as 13” even on iCloud.com.
Funny. My 13" 2018 MBP is showing up a 15" model. At one point, it even had my old 2007 15" MBP as the icon. Weird.

I don't know what happened but everything is finally showing up correctly on iCloud, AppleID manage page and the devices section on my iPhone.

Also recently got a 2018 MBP 13" (customized with 16gb ram). Shows as a 15" MBP on my iCloud.

Kinda annoying but glad to know some people are seeing it resolve it self

I just stumbled across this thread because I have the same issue with my custom configured 2019 27" iMac. It is listed as 21.5" in iCloud and in all my devices. I have called Apple Support, but they didn't have an answer. Hopefully, the correct information will eventually be corrected.
