MM has been off and on for 2 weeks for me as well. No alias's, incorrect passwords, missing mail -etc. 2 iChat sessions revealed server issues according to them. This last two days I have been flooded with spam at one of mu alias addresses. Comes in about 6 pm and I get about 6 from the same spammer.

I am convinced to this day apple can not do cloud services correctly. These have been issues since 07 for me- so I blame myself for thinking they would get it sorted. I don't think I am going to make the transition to the new MM- I am loosing gallery and iDisk. So I have Dropbox and need another free unobtrusive service for pics. I'll just move everything to my exchange server I suppose. Having a .mac addy is cool and all: but it won't be able to push on SL in June so what's the point of delaying the inevitable.

First, turn off Mail and Notes in iCloud preferences.

Then, in Mail, add an account using your full @me.com address as username, your password, and the IMAP server "imap.mail.me.com". The SMTP server is "smtp.mail.me.com", and uses authentication.

In Mail.app, hold "Option" when you click "Continue" after entering your email address and password to prevent Mail from automatically adding an iCloud account.

Now, you're essentially using iCloud email separate from the rest of iCloud, and so far with this setup, I have not had any issues.

For more information on the server settings, see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864.

I followed these directions and have found success so far. Thanks for posting.

Follow up from 2nd case # w/apple.

Appeared to fix my alais's that were not showing up in sending.

Now, this am I get an email from my son's teacher that she has been replying to my email from her school account (from which I sent) last week 11 times, and it's returning to her undeliverable. She sent from her personal, and I received.

FML and this mess....

Back to tech support when they open. urgh...

Edit/Add-
Appears to be a rule set up on apples end they cannot delete, up'd to tier 3 support and wait for response.

Anyone know if the below is a stop from MS exchange or Apple's end, it appears to be from Apple rejecting-this is received back immediately btw.
