iCloud mail down (again)?

Mine too. I used to think that Steve Jobs was just a man, and that any company as large and powerful as Apple couldn't possibly rely on just one man.
With the issues I have experienced with iCloud ans Siri (now in its second day down) I'm beginning to believe that Apple's quality was embodied in Jobs and is now falling down a slippery slope.

I do agree with that MobileMe for email was just about manageable albeit a bit slow, but never did It have the weekly downtime iCloud is having,
It's so unreliable that I have had to route all my email to an old Gmail account that I still had active, in the hope it will be temporary measure until Apple sort iCloud email out
I fear now after the latest outrage I will need to completely switch back to Gmail as I just cannot trust iCloud as my primary email address
The rest of iCloud is working well and is appreciated but why cannot Apple ever get their email working? it seems to just get worse
I also find it a bit weird that so many Apple tech blogs, such as this one, don't find it postworthy. Let's face it, MacRumors posts a lot of inane bull excrement. And I like inane bull excrement. But isn't Apple's ineptitude around this product remarkable?
I have been getting this from time to time, since my iPhone 4S, this all with the fact I can not access my Calendar, Contacts, and Email since moving to iCloud, but my 2010 Mini has SL so this all is totally frustrating.
I can not believe that I have to update to Lion, just to get everything to work and sync with my iCloud service, they should have made this backward compatible, not that I will not go to Lion 100%, but I was not expecting to have to do that now, not to mention my iCloud Services are going in and out, and I have lost contacts and calendar appointments with the migration.

Good thing for the iCloud team that Steve is no longer around or they would have been in his crosshair for a serious a talk.
I haven't had any email since 5:30 a.m. EST today. Just keep getting the fu*$&*$ password incorrect message. So Frustrating. I wish that it would just say "broken" rather than make up some message that isn't true. I know my password Apple. Anyone else having these problems?
i have given up on iCloud for my email needs. Im in process of switching it all to gmail. I never had a problem with it ( i do know there is problems with everything on the internet) I need my email and not to get it is stupid. I mean its email, there is so many ISPs and others that provide it, why can't apple get it right? the few other services of iCloud that i do use (very few) work fine. Never had a problem with mobile me either.
