Just saw that as well. A bit stupid, just keep trying it until it works. I've done it many times, still not working for me.

They're getting hammered, we're talking hundred of thousands if not millions of users hitting it at the same time. Be patient, it'll work.

IMO, Apple didn't do this correctly. They should've released iOS 8.4 last week to prep for this.

Tried 3-4 more times and it's working. Likely just needs time for it to work for everyone I guess.

Also, interesting that it's called iCloud Music Library. Makes it sound like a replacement for iTunes match.

Can some kind soul maybe explain me what exactly happens when I activate "iCloud Music Library"? Afraid to activate it as the description seems a bit unclear to me - will it mess with my "local" playlists/music (which I transfer old-school-like through iTunes) and try to match everything of it in the cloud (like iTunes Match) - or will my local music and my music added through AM co-exist on my devices? I can add AM songs to a synced playlist of "my" mp3s, correct? But Apple Music won't automatically delete any of my owned music in iTunes with the next sync or delete/replace my old playlists, or will it?

As the OP I can confirm if you keep hitting it, it will work! Guess we can't give apple a hard time, on the scale they launch services it's a miracle the internet has enough bandwidth to support us all!

mine has finally worked but now not even giving me an option to store a song offline?

I can now toggle it on, but then the My Music section of the Music app shows a loading progress bar while preparing the library, and eventually that same error pops up again, lol. Ah well. I'll give it some time.

Yeah I think some of the offline stuff isn't working fully. When they played the first song on Beats1, i had the option to add the playing song to a playlist or save it offline. This vanished for the subsequent songs and i've now noticed all of my playlists (apart from 1) have gone.

I guess it's just the usual early rush hitting the servers hard.

It is. Except that it costs way more.

I was getting this too until I enabled Genius then I toggled it on and it worked. I'm not an iTunes Match user, so I might be experiencing a different experience.

had to do it about 25 times and worked now. i hope it will not be confusing.
I hope my music remains my music and when apple music ends that i get my songs from the cloud back to itunes xD

I think this has to do with our existing libraries. If you have a Match library, a Beats Music library, or Purchased iTunes content. All of our music is being processed and people with larger libraries are having to wait. At least that's the way I'm thinking about it.

People are acting like this is a bug but the dialog is telling you to try it later. Obviously it's waiting till something on the server is finished. I'll just try it every several minutes.

it sucks that i cant see progress. i hope it wont use mobile data for uploaded my 8gig of music. for some people this is gonna eat their whole data of the month then.

idk if this is what got mine working but I forced closed Music so it wasn't running in the background. Then I was able to connect on the very next try.
