I live in Georgia and do not have the option to load my driver's license. I thought people were already doing that in the IOS 15 betas?

No. Once GA DMV is ready, Apple will flip the switch server-side so to speak.

Just wondering...

So I get pulled over in my car and the cop wants to see my license. Do I hand over my (possibly unlocked) phone to them?

FWIW… as a Highway Patrolman and as already stated previously by an LEO, never hand your phone over to an LEO, especially an unlocked one. However, I am perfectly fine with taking a photo of a photo of someone’s License/ID. I only need to verify you are who you say you are with a pic so if the Apple wallet app will contain your license with a pic of your mug on it, that’s sufficient for me. Can’t speak for other LEO’s though. I’ve seen it plenty of times… “I left my wallet at home but I have a picture of my license on my phone.” “Great, just hold your phone out the window so I can take a picture of the screen with your license on it.” Then I patiently wait for some time as they search through thousands of photos in their photos app lol. Sometimes in the rain, sometimes in the freezing cold lol. Driver’s license in the wallet app would definitely help mitigate that.

Of course, I’m sure that states’ DMVs are going to give guidance and state law will be reflected for LEOS on how to handle these situations.
