What font is that on KO's show?

I've been watching a lot of Countdown with Keith Olbermann these days, for understandable reasons: it's campaign season. And I've gotta say something that's been on my mind for a long, long time:

KO's show has got the flat-out best graphics intro and bumper package I've seen on any show, anywhere. (And it goes great with that Beethoven's Fifth score. :) )

It does leave me wondering, though -- what is that font that Countdown uses? It's really unique. Anyone know where it can be gotten free or cheap?

Yeah, each S is different too. You could do something like this in Illustrator or Photoshop... or even with a black marker on paper and scan it, lightly pencilling in the letters first and tweaking it afterwards on the Mac. :)

I'm looking for some help, i made a poster ages ago and i used the font shown in the picture, but I can't find it in pages, and I think thats the program I used.

Is there anyone out there who knows the name of this font?

I've been after the "Bad" font for ages! Have found some that come close such as some in the "Pea handwritting sets" which I have found for free online. But none of them have the right A or D.

Any help or suggestions VERY much appreciated

I hope you can help me, as my Google-fu has failed me. Does anyone know what font was used for the MacGyver title?

Really close is good enough. Thanks!

With the differences in the lower case "m" and such, I would guess that this one was a handlettered/scanned one- but hope someone else can ID it if not.

Good observation! I also just learned that the branding originates from a sign that is 50 years old so there is a very good chance that this is indeed hand lettering... looks like I will be doing some tracing.
