Well? Everyone's Android device I see; they all look the same and clunky. It appears Android users use this to try to come to the conclusion that their device is better; but why do majority never actually customise it? It just looks crap; animations are either too fast, or have dropped frames...

Speaking as someone who just sold off his Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 10.1, Android is so much more customizable it's not even funny.

Maybe not everyone takes the time to DO it, but the kind of things you can do with a totally stock, un-rooted Android device makes iOS look just silly in comparison. Switch out launchers, fiddle with gestures and shortcuts, widgets, custom dock formations, the list goes on and on and on.

Then if you root? Oh lawdy. There's almost no limit. Android can look like anything. It can replicate iOS, Windows, a desktop computer, whatever you want.

Alot of people are happy the way Android looks, ie be it stock Android on the Nexus range, or Touchwiz from Samsung which is packed to the rafters with features, but they also have a thing called CHOICE, something iOS user's don't really get unless they jailbreak.

I know what the OP means in terms of just that home screen look because - somewhat hilariously, as a creature of habit - I've set my S4 up to look like my iPhone did.

That's just simply because my favourite apps need to be in their rightful places!

But swipe left and right, it's a different matter with widgets, Google Now etc etc.

It doesnt always "look the same" you have not been looking in the right places. Not onlyxis there plenty of customization options through the play store there are also roms which makes the possibilities damn near endless.

Swapping left shows me an index of all apps I have that I can quickly find, swipping right shows me the most recent apps Ive ran. The dock on the bottom will stay when I change to another screen such as one of my screens with widgets. iOS is a tricycle in comparison.
