The comparison in battery length between this year’s Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (6.9”, 5,000mAh & Snapdragon® 8 Elite) vs last year’s Galaxy S24 (6.1”, 4,000mAh & Exynos 2400). For real guys, for real. 💀

If Apple’s small basic entry iPhone with an inferior chipset and display came within a whisker of their bulky flagship there would be RIOTS.

Welcome to AI, everybody. 🪫

Firstly what the hell doe you mean by battery "length" and not show a measurement of Length in mm/inches?

Did you mean battery capacity?

Here is GSMArena's ratings - the prenuptial listing for all smartphones ever existed and accurate.

S24, S25 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro specs - including battery capacity and dimensions:

GSMArena ... S25 Ultra vs iPhone 16 Pro battery life comparison:

S25U using Snapdragon 8 Elite a much more powerful multi-core and GPU and NPU than the 16's SoC seeming matching just 2 mins more on gaming, almost 6hrs more call time, and just 3hrs less overall battery life. It all depends on what your focused task is and overall usage.

task for task I got more on my Galaxy S23 than I ever did on my iPhone 13 mini running iOS 15.3.1 which I had loved so much! iOS 18.3/.1 is a hot mess of a jump that I could not even recognize iOS anymore it was terrible. Like why did Apple remove sending contacts and pictures via bluetooth for?

Probably a budget Samsung device. The S24 Ultra was widely recognized as the best device of 24. And the S25 Ultra is even better. Huge upgrade? No. But huge year over year upgrades are a thing of the past. Many S24U users who upgraded may be disappointed but that's why there is a return period and they should have known it was an iterative update, kinda like the 15PM to 16PM. I have no regrets as it's an absolutely amazing device. Will likely remain my daily for the foreseeable future over my 16PM and P9 Pro XL.
My experience of the S24U was it was the S23U that reflected less light. The S25U is the S24U with a more generic design.

In other words if anyone is looking for a quality high end Samsung phone don’t buy anything more than the still-great S23U.

I feel like this thread has become a little dated. Maybe not physical riots, but if the last two weeks of things like the MacRumors show are any indication, people are not happy with the direction Apple is going in. I did think about going back to Iphone like a month ago, but after using Wireless Android Auto for 12 days and I still like the Android phone despite Samsung's delays, I'm happy with keeping the S24 Ultra.
