IOS is the reason I moved away from Apple ... So no - I won't / wouldn't ..

----------

I wouldn't mind Android 5 on my 6+ either. Oh and a notification light too.

I am sure Apple will innovate one eventually ;)

----------

Nope. I'm over iOS. The features and freedom of android have been liberating. My phone actually does what I want now. My oneplus one is easier to use now that it's set up just the way I like it. Easier than my iPhone 6.

I wish I could get the s6 or s6e running cyanogen though! :p

freedom / liberating .. Spot on ...

I understand iOS is more than just looks. I'm asking the OP what he/she truly means when they say iOS on an Android device. Some people truly do think of iOS as just the home launcher and how things navigate. If that's the case, Android phones can for the most part mimick it.

By the way, I think of iTunes,iMessage, FaceTime, photoStream, and iCloud as apps, first party apps, but still apps. There is a viable equivalent to it on Android (Whatsapp, Hangouts, Skype, Google Drive, Google+). Well maybe not the horrendous iTunes. Nothing is worse than it.

I know there are workarounds on Android. Google drive doesn't work quite the same as photo stream and I've found FaceTime much more pleasant on my mobile than Skype even though I have both. I also like the fact you can back your phone up completely including its total appearance and user settings. I never found a way of doing that on android.

I would rather get S6 with Android than iOS.

I can't stand the limitations from iOS but love the iPhone hardware. Jailbreaking is easier than rooting but I feel a jailbroken iPhone is only on par to what Android offers right out of the box. Android's 3rd party launcher alone is like 3-4 different Cydia apps.

For me, Apple give us an Android phone. Then I can install what OS I would like. Dual boot iOS/Android on an iPhone if I want to.

For now, I will stick to XIAOMI. I grew to love MIUI even though I am on a stock AOSP right now. If you go to the MIUI site, the forums are filled with custom ROMs of your choosing. Plus a guide on what to do. It is quite easy actually. Very difficult to brick your phone and the firmware is there if you do brick it. MIUI really is like iOS + Android. Some of the looks of iOS with Android's versatility. Over 100M MIUI users experiencing the best of both worlds.

But other phablets give you far higher screen resolutions, ram, etc etc.

Would make no sense

The only phablet whose hardware compares to the iPhone, IMO, is the Note 4. And even then, some just prefer the iPhone's build materials and design.

I would agree though that the iPhone would need to have at least 2GB of RAM to run Android smoothly.
