It'll likely fire right up if you're on Win7. If you're on XP, about the worst you should have to do is download the drivers and install them. I have a wired 360 controller, and it's never given me a single problem in all the years I've used it.

Though as with all things computer, your mileage may vary.

Thanks off to buy me a copy :)

I have the dongle and wireless controller, so I just plug it all in and it works in Bootcamp with no TattieBogle and things ?

Which dongle do you have exactly? I bought one on eBay, and it works fine, but I had to follow a certain procedure to get it to work in Windows 7.

Nobody wants a challenge anymore. They just want to see how Master Chief inevitably saves the galaxy yet again.

I mostly play games for the story, and after too many hours of watching Master Chief empty a clip in the general direction of some bad guys (without hitting any of them), and then slowly reloading his gun in their face while they beat him to a pulp, I reduce the difficult level just so I can see what happens next. That's all well and good until I go online, and provide cannon fodder for those who like a challenge.

I'm not saying games should be easy, just that they should provide the option, and they do. Tell me, is Legendary really too easy for you?

This seems like a good place to post this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKIiUsbOO24

SNAAAKE!! NOOOO! How can you be so incompetent?

Quake live is indeed fun. I hop on there every now and again when I'm bored to get my adrenaline fix :) It could be better though, the Mac version is a bit buggy, and still labeled as in "beta". That's a bit ridiculous considering it has been live for like 3 years, and it's sad that they never took the time to make the Mac version properly. Previous ID titles always had good Mac support.
