If someone offered you an IPhone Xr, Xs or Xs Max which would you choose and why
If offered for free, the Xs. If buying myself, I would consider the Xr first.
If someone offered you an IPhone Xr, Xs or Xs Max which would you choose and why
this is true, but I am guessing the OP wanted reasons why I would choose one phone over another, regardless if it was an objective reason. That's extremely subjective
LOL, what? Disaster?
All in your head, bud.
Go read about the RF disaster on the Xs/Xs Max, and about Intel radios. You obviously have no clue what you're talking about.
Since you apparently don't know how to use Google, here are some links to get you started:

"I obviously have no clue what I'm talking about" as I sit here with two lightning fast, problem-free AT&T Xs Max devices and five friends and coworkers who also purchased on launch day on T-Mobile and Verizon, all with zero issues.
By all means, go ahead and be sad about "lab-tested RF power output" and I'll be over here with the millions of people fully satisfied and having no connectivity or speed issues whatsoever.
By no means is this a disaster. That is hilarious.
Go somewhere with weak reception. You will have no service, someone with a Galaxy S9 or Note 9 will be cruising along on LTE. Just because you live somewhere that's saturated with cellular signals doesn't mean that the iPhone Xs and Xs Max aren't a disaster from a design perspective.
Sure, there are millions of clueless people who don't realize that their phones are crap at getting a signal, but there are also thousands upon thousands of complaints of signal problems on this forum alone.
Max. Only because of the larger 6.5 display. And OLED is a significant shift for me over LCD.
Unless I'm comparing phones side by side, I'm not sure it is that important (LED vs OLED). At least I still don't have complaints about the screen on my 7+ when I use it. It is just the overall size of the phone, and I like the small bezel vs the older models.
Ah, so everyone who enjoys their XS is clueless and only high IQ people who obsess over RF signal analyzation are the master race.
I don’t see this anywhere except technical forums. I don’t see this in any of the major reviews of the device, and I don’t see anyone complaining in the real world and I handle IT for a handful of business in the Boston and Los Angeles area with quite a few XS devices on the roster. If you think the competing flagship Android devices perform better, by all means make the switch. This issue isn’t near as drastic as some wish it was, for whatever reason. It barely touches the mainstream and you can’t just call millions of people “clueless” if they’re simply happy with their purchase.
