in the Australia the stores got the max 30core in stock. The 40 comes later in the month.

The max is definitely the way to go this time around if you have the money, and that just shows people aren't interested in the m3 and the m3 pro all that much

I feel like the 14/30 Max chip is a better move for the 14" chassis to balance heat/throttling + battery life concerns.

I don't care if a volcano forms and begins spewing lava on my keyboard. Im not going to let possible heat/throttling influence my buying decision :D

It was absurd to me that the M3 Max only starts with 36GB and has no option until you go all the way to 96GB. So I got the upgraded M3 Max and added 64GB for future proofing.

Honestly if they had an M3 Pro with 48GB I would’ve bitten. At least this should last me the rest of the decade.
