Here is 1 possibility. At my house Tmobile has no edge service, just GPRS. I assume thats why?? And with Tmo, when you are in Edge coverage area, do you have the E symbol? At my house I have just a plain white block, which Id seen even with ATT a few weeks ago for the first time ever. I did some searching and found that the white block indicates you are not on Edge.

i just got my phone with tmobile yesturday. i ported my # from att. i got the 5.99 tzones hack and i have all the settings u guys posted. my problem is that im not getting internet over edge only on wifi. so i call tmobile and they said to wait 48 hours for tzones to start working. Did anyone here had to wait 2 48 hours for there tzones or is tmobile just playing games with me??? thanks

Could be that the tzones loop was closed? Have seen some people say that the 19.99 plan is the only one that works now. I know I added the 19.99 plan to my account and it was active with 2-3min.

BTW, to clear up my issue. Went out and into an area with better Tmobile coverage. I did in fact get Edge with the E symbol, and Youtube worked. I guess it does only work on Edge, not on GPRS.

I use T-Mobile's BlackBerry plan, works great with no workarounds.
If you're using the BlackBerry data plan, then put in wap.voicestream.com as the APN with the other fields blank. If you're using the Total Internet plan, then put in internet2.voicestream.com and with the other fields blank. Both will work fine without workarounds.

Worth noting that YouTube won't work if you're using the T-Zones plan.

can someone tell me why youtube will not work when using the t-zones $5.99 plan? also, is there a way around this? other than getting the $19.99 plan or using wifi instead. it's not a major deal, but it would still be nice to use for the alot lower price plan.
