I disagree. I think these look much better than the original Gear.

Same here. The more I look at them, at least the black "Neo" version, the more I begin to toy with the idea of actually getting one. I could definitely live with that look. Provided that it doesn't feel too thick. It's 1mm thinner than the original which I thought felt too thick when I tried it on, that make might a difference.
