I'll be that person: is the battery life anywhere near what it claims to be?

But Apple end up looking stupid out of this as when they change the MBP testing to the same as the new MBAs its going to make it look as though the MBP has lost battery power, if you follow me.

only if the batteries don't change and they use the new testing methods. however, apple always manages to increase the battery life on their new laptops. my guess is we'll either see the same or longer battery life on the next gen mb and mbps

Which makes me think they have found some way to get 10 hours on the new test on the next release of the MBP.
