Oh I agree. Beehive is far superior. But for those who like it, they can at least update it.
It's a good backup IM client.
I must way in on all this "your stupid for liking im+, beejive is the almighty one-and-only im client". it's really narrow minded. i really like im+. i think beejive is ugly. i am glad the push notifications update is out.
Anyway, if beejive is so much better than im+, why is it 20 places behind im+ on the top 100 paid in the uk?

Cheaper doesnt mean better. That took no common sense. If you make an app 5 dollars compared to 15 dollars, yes it will outsell the more expensive one. Doesnt mean its better by any stretch of even a warped imagination.
When did i say cheaper made it better? Being higher in the top 100 means more people bought it. Who are you to say that it's because it's cheaper, and not because more people like it? Or even it's a better app?
Glad i logged on to mac rumours today to have my "common sense" criticised by a beejive user. perhaps thats another plus of beejive over im+!?
Because when IM+ first came out it was 0.99 cents so of course people bought it, where Beejive was always more expensive and that makes a harder sell.

Hmm... according to AppShopper, im+ was 59p back in March. I'm pretty sure the top 100 is calculated on sales over a smaller period than 3 months, or there would be hardly any change in the rankings of apps. So there must be more to it.
Beejive is listed at #27 on the US store with IM+ at #98. And the US has a lot more people buying apps than the UK.
Not anymore, since IM+ works great. BeeJive gave me and my wife constant

Just read the other threads , I am not alone , its a consensus that BeeJive is broke. Some post stated we should see an BeeJive update in the app store this week.

They had some server issues a day or two ago.

Beejive has dropped a whole half star in rating since the shoddy 3.0 release. They shouldn't have rushed it out.
Server or app problem , same different , they shipped it in non working condition, inexcusable. They should give everyone that bought the app when it came out , a $10 refund . Only correct thing to do if they are a reputable company.
A lot of people were blaming this on Beejive and it wasn't them. I had friends on PC's tell me their AIM wouldn't work, same for Facebook IM. I had the same problem with AIM on iChat as well.. so it was AIM/Facebook more than it was Beejive. All third party clients were having problems with Yahoo, too.
Because it's cheaper and a lot of people don't see past the price.
EDIT: Has anyone managed to get Twitter Push to work on IM+? I haven't...
