I was all ready to poke fun at this post because the title is pretty uppity, but it's actually a decent point IMO.

Makes sense. Ive found myself looking for the volume controls several times. They should have left them on the left side near the headphone jack like on the iphone.

Right. But I'm not a blind fanboy, so I can see the home button, an know I holdig it right when it's at the bottom. I also can see the sleep wake button at the top, and a speaker and dock at the other end. I don't need a black strip on my ipad. This thread is so stupid. Just another BLIND fanboy thing of a really lame excuse of the black bar. Although people wil know your rich if your burned $830 on a device that won't run the latest OS in 2 years.

Oh boy, I. Can see the posts & poll now, " Do you like your black bar?" or, "My black bar isn't as black as the store demo, do I need to take my iPad back?" ;)

Lol @ this thread.

Specially because the iPad adjusts to you.

Lol

Whatever floats your boat.

I personally could not live with that atrocious black bar ruining the ipads back.
Hence iPad wifi all the way for a sleek cleaner look.

Wow.

First of all...chill...it was a light hearted comical post, relax.

Having said that...since you're not a fanboy and have great vision, tell me, which side of the iPad is the home button on? Which side is the sleep/wake button and where are the volume controls?

This is the lighting condition that I typically use my iPad in.
