If your machine and periphery are in perfect condition, you may as well keep it. If you do an exchange, you may get one of those with yellow tint and whistle noise...

See, I guess I just don't understand this, even though it's been repeated a few times here.

My feeling is that I paid for a brand spankin' new 'puter. That means, it's in virgin packing condition as it left the factory. Secondly, I also paid for a 'puter that doesn't have a yellow tint or whistle noise. Why would I have to choose between one or the other?

If they sent me a repack, and I sent it back, and they replaced it with one that had a yellow tint or whistle? Guess what the mailman's gonna get the next mornin'. And so on, and so on until I get what I 'effin' paid for.

Well, as I mentioned in my original post, my 2009 iMac came from China, as they all do, right? And it was packaged BEAUTIFULLY! You could tell it was new, this one I could tell something was not right.

I am calling Mac Connection tomorrow and tell them I want a new machine. I just am the kind of person that expects perfection for $2,000.00!

Actually when you order in Europe (Switzerland for me), the computer is shipped from Ireland. Unfortunately, they don't pack any pints of Guinness with your order :(

My new iMac came like that too. Wasn't too happy at first, but now its came and works awesome AS, I'm not too worried =)
