Have not received any notice of available software update in Sys prefs or App store update page . Where is this notification showing up for you lot??

AMD released updated boot camp drivers on 09/08. You’ll have to go to AMD’s site to grab them.

I saw that a couple of days ago. Considering Bootcamp is working perfectly, I'm not in a hurry to update the drivers.

updated about an hour ago, no white lines since. Still seeing the small corners of windows fill in occasionally though.

Funny, I can't get my Metal or OpenCL scores above 56,000 before or after this update.

weird. my Novabench GPU score rose 440 points after the update.

Yeah this new Novabench suggests I have a way higher GPU score (997) then the average (565). I wonder if there was more tinkering in that update? I'm not really that tech savvy in this realm so who knows.

I was impatient. I had little faith.

I kinda feel bad we were so tough on Apple. Clearly, they were working on a fix behind the scenes. Shame on all of us for doubting them.

My Novabench is at 660 for my 5700 XT post update. I don't know what it was before as I never ran that benchmark. WTF?

even more odd, I now cant replicate that score at all. back down to just under 600. Although in the mean time I started drafting and rendering some other things and maybe that heated up the machine.

That particular problem is common to all the Navi Macs I think.

Just updated. No white line glitch yet.
But My screen is split as yesterday in different tones.¬¬

Is there any solution to this rather than restart the computer?

Like hell! Apple did absolutely nothing to put peoples minds at rest about this issue. They never acknowledged it (until now), they incorrectly advised people to return machines and try another unit, and then every time people rang up to report the issue, they were told by Apple it’s the first time they’d ever heard of it!

Personally I think it’s absolutely disgraceful how Apple have handled it. I feel sorry for those who were wrong told to return machines.

All Apple had to do was put out a statement at the start, acknowledging the issue, and saying they were working on a fix - but they did nothing.
