Results of my exact same configuration 1292 - 9046, in Novabench - 30386
I have a memory HyperX HX426S15IB2K2/32
Well that's impressive, congrats!
In an identical machine my only way of accounting for the difference, short of sun spot activity;)
Your Kingston RAM has better CAS latency numbers than the ADATA. You report a significantly better Novabench score and noticeably better Geekbench scores. So you are ahead of the game it would seem, well done you!

Is it better to install 4x8GB sticks or 2x16GB sticks for 32GB of RAM?

I would say 4x8 (matching brand). Unless of course you think you might bump it up to 64gb in the future.

At the end of the day however, keep in mind that these differences in speed that result from matched memory or whatever are kinda not noticeable in real world use. That said, if you want to insure you have the highest benchmark scores - go with 4 sticks all matching.

In both my iMacs I have 4 16gb sticks (corsair vengeance) in each of them. So both iMacs have 64gb of ram. After Effects loves that ram baby :)
