Hold down ALT when you power on.

There's an upgrade deal that ends sometime in December. Don't wait too long :)

Nice set up. Now try this game:

* Dredge up a USB PC keyboard (and maybe mouse) and add them to your Mac, sitting in front of the second display.

* Amaze your friends who now see two keyboards and think you have two computers. Move the mouse cursor from the Mac, through the air, onto the "PC" :)

* Get the two screens/keyboards as far apart as possible to enhance the illusion. Better yet, chuck an old tower on the floor too.

(There's actually network software that WILL do that with two separate computers, too.)

Many thanks speakerwizard, for the pictures, review and benchmarks... they're really useful! :)

I'm planning to order a iMac like yours but I'm a Battlefield 2 fan and I hadn't seen any benchmark of this game using the iMac 24".

It would be really nice if you can download the Battlefield 2 demo and test it on your machine with different settings and resolutions. Can you do it?

Thanks a lot,
ngm

P.S.: oh... I checked that you are from England and here in Europe we enjoy football a lot. Have you tried Pro Evolution Soccer 5 in you iMac? Well... I'm from Portugal! (hope you don't like soccer!) :p

Hello speakerwizard, I really appreciate your availability to evaluate the game in your iMac 24"... I think you'll be the first one doing that! Many thanks.

I think there's no universal version of Battlefield 2 so you have to run it under Windows using Boot Camp.

There's a 1.4 patch. You can download it here (official EA game website).

I believe that if BF2 runs well on your iMac 24" you'll keep it because it's a really nice game to play on your free time.

Concerning football... I hate playing real life football and I don't care about real life teams, players and scandals. But it's nice to play Pro Evolution Soccer 5 with some friends in from of the iMac. :) But I'm pretty sure that PES5 runs smoothly on iMac since it's not a very demanding game.

How's the quality of the screen? Any backlight leaking or unevenly lit areas?
