iMac - good enough for photography?

My photography is very important to me and even a mac pro + ACD would cost me a lot less than my camera did (1Ds3) - so I'd be fine getting one from a cost angle (have just sold some rather expensive prints - which was nice) - but I don't want to throw money away needlessly - could get a nice new Zeiss 21mm lens in EF fit with the difference in cost between a Mac Pro and an iMac (and THAT IS SEXY !)

You could grab the iMac as a very cost effective solution, but at the point that you mentioned you were selling prints and shooting with a pro body and considered a Zeiss lens, MACPRO rung through my head.

Simply put, the Mac Pro will last you much much longer.
