Such a strange issue that I cannot figure out.
When my iMac is on wifi only, using HomePods for audio is never a problem.
However, when I connect to ethernet (using the plug on the power blog), I can use HomePods for audio but after a period of time, it will no longer work. What happens is, it *thinks* it's playing on the HomePods, but there's no audio. The HomePods light up as if they're playing audio as well, but no sound.
This never happens if on wifi only. I cannot figure out what changes or triggers it, but it's consistent with being hardwired to the LAN.
Am I alone with this?
PS. It occurred on the previous version of MacOS as well as the current (Sonoma)
