to the original poster, I love the design, but lose the trackpad and dock. On a desk, an iPod sticking out of the computer is not aesthetically pleasing. The iPod in its dock looks great next to the white iMac as it is now...if they have a new iPod with wireless synching (most likely wont happen) then that'd be cool, but your design is otherwise great - remember, more features does not necessarily mean better. Although I just can't see them changing the look by that much.

Stop the madness. I dunno, I don't see any trackpad or ports in the bottom happening. Those stands are too thin to run wiring through them.

By the way uros643, that iMac is REALLY cool :) What did you use to design it? Not revolutionary as you admit, but it looks a lot more evolutionary to the current iMacs.

Thanks. I just used Flash. I didn't really want to try adding textures or spend too much time on details, so this is what I came up with. :D

about hd content

maybe the guys doing chat at apple.com just didn't want to leave you thinking that there is an HD DVD or BluRay disc reader in them. The 24" does have High-Def resolution, but it's typically not called HD on a computer.

You mean this one?
attachment.php

Yup thats the one, except there were more of them!

Thanks!

Thanks all for your response - I've definetly learn't what not to put in the next version. Are there any suggestions for what I could actually put in? - Would help alot in future designs :)

I say keep the dock and um.........try a new design, everything you sowed us can be compared to a g4 and g5 design...try something out there... but something apple can do.

I'm a fan of the ipod docking on the computer. Rids me of one more cable to hid on the desk.
Not a fan of the trackpad, good concept though. Especially considering with a battery, you're encouraging more portability. I'd love to just pick mine up and move out to the patio for coffee, but I never do because I don't want to shut down.
Maybe including a bluetooth mouse that comes with the computer. You could incorporate some nice way to store it. Something like the remote on the laptops. I love the magnet and just sticking it to the casing.
