With the sudo and periodic commands, you can run any of the three scripts yourself.
 
OPTION(alt) - COMMAND - EJECT = Sleep Mode (whole machine)
SHIFT - CONTROL - EJECT = Sleep Mode just for the display


Depending on having something run that i want to continue I just put the screen to sleep, otherwise the whole machine.
 
Surely I'm not the only one to notice that this thread was first created in 2007... then revived somehow 2 years later... to only be revived over 1 year later...

I expect this thread to die then revive half a year later.
