iMac Pro iMac Pro Crackin sound

Hi

Need a headset for my iMac pro but every single one I try make a horrible crackling sound. Must have tried 5-6 different headsets that all works find on other macs but not on mine.

They are all USB wired ones if that helps.

Anyone have any ideas?

Seems like in the past there were a firmware issue that cuased similar issues but that must have been resolved by now, surely?

I've heard of certain models of MBPs that would make a humming or buzzing sound from the speaker port when plugged into a wall socket. But I never thought that would be the case with USB.

Do you use a grounded plug with your iMac? Maybe that would help.
