You don't have to be a professional biker to ride a bike

If you order an iMac with only an SSD it won't have the cable for a SATA drive. It might not even have a connector for one on the motherboard.

I've checked.

It has the SATA connector on the logic board, but doesn't come with the SATA/hard drive cable.
