Guilty as charged!
I'm already on life support just from the purchase of the M9. I'm going to have to start hacking limbs off to be able to afford a decent 50 now.Just be careful .... there's only a limited number of internal organs you can sell before problems arise .....

It's seems I get to enjoy my limbs a little longer, just been told I am 22nd in line for the black...(I would be 11th for silver)
but you never post pictures @Scepticalscribe... you (we) are missing out.
As it happens, my camera is a M6, and thus, I am still languishing in a pre digital age.
We know.... but when you get them processed you must get digital copies?
It's early days with the M9 but I'm really enjoying the experience so far. It's very different to what I'm used to, coming from Fuji's and Sony's with their live view. I've never been much of a fan of autofocus and have always eschewed it in favour of manual lenses so that hasn't been so much of a transition for me.Ah, well, do enjoy it.
Although, in the dim, far, distant future, I will not deny that I have viewed the thought of a 28 summilux (Leica, the wretches, released one as part of a set) would set my pulse racing.
For now, the 35 summilux is my go-to lens, which does everything asked of it almost effortlessly.
How do you find the M9?
Well, enjoy the continued use of your limbs.
I've been telling her that for months! We know.... but when you get them processed you must get digital copies?
True! Come on join the 21st century. And I can attest (from personal experience) that reading reviews of the M10 is profoundly unhealthy for you.

Very guilty.
You knew exactly what you were doing when you did that.

Digital camera.

You know it makes sense. You'll just have to switch to quarn sausages and instant coffee to find them!
+1 for Lightroom @ScepticalscribeThe beauty with the Leica range of digital cameras is that you can shoot them just like a film camera. I have some limited experience of shooting with a film SLR many years ago and this is a very similar experience.
Your bigger learning curve would be the processing side of things, but there is an endless supply of free help available on the Web and YouTube to walk you through that side of things. It's actually very enjoyable and allows you even greater creative expression.
I think I'm right in saying that you get a copy of Lightroom when you buy a new Leica and that's what a lot of people use these days (myself included).

Not only is it easy to use for storing your files as it is a DAM (Digital asset Manager), it is easy to use for editing to.
Plus there is plenty of online tutorials and videos.
Lots of places will do that to. Calumet in London isn't too far from you. Thanks - but I have a feeling that whenever a M10 makes an appearance in my lie, I'm going to need real life tutorials, too. Nothing beats an hour's hands on training - someone who is there to explain, demonstrate, and answer questions.
Quorn sausages and instant coffee will never make an appearance on my table or in my larder, trust me. Not even for photography. There are many sacrifices I will contemplate in this world, but foregoing real coffee is not one of them.
Even when I worked in central Asia, I used to bring real coffee back with me when I returned from leave.
But - in any case - @Apple fanboy - having sent me the link for the M10, I do think that amounts to an expression of pure sadism.
The M8, M8.2, M9, and all of those oddly named and numbered Leicas since then, have passed me by, with barely an eyebrow raised on my part (although I did read the reviews). Not remotely tempted. Not, that is, until now.
Re @MacRy's shot - my problem is exactly the converse of yours: I have the (proper) glass, and am used to rangefinders - so, that is not the issue. However, I don't know the first thing about digital photography.....
Yes you do... You know how to do it properly... And there is no fumbling loading film and you get your images ready to rock... Straight away...
Get an M9 you won't regret it...
I hear the M11 is going to be good!
What ever you do don't wait for the M25. It's a bloody nightmare!Hmmmm.
Given that the M10 has just been released - and does tick many boxes - and given that Leica are nice and slow about releasing new models, I think - just think - that this may be a little premature.
What ever you do don't wait for the M25. It's a bloody nightmare!
Everybody has a skill! If I get 5 minutes next week I'll go check on the M10 for you! Now, my friend, you are winding me up......and damned successfully, too.
What? On the one night references to the Leica M10, and to Arsenal's shocking capitulation......
