iMessage on Big Sur does not properly sync with my iPhone 12 Pro Max

No matter how many times I sync, there are messages missing

I did an entire reset by logging out of both my Mac and iPhone, changed my iCloud password, restarted everything, logged back in - still missing messages

Plus, the 2-steps required to delete messages and the Archive function being useless

Who would have ever thought we'd long for the days of Catalina?

I woke up this morning to find a message on my iPhone that did not show up on my MBP. I have no idea why, seems completely random. Had the same problem in Catalina.
I thought that it had been fixed but I guess not. 😥

Why does Apple force you to use 2 Factor Authentication, to be able to use iMessage Syncing?

Always chuckle when a thread is titled "XXX is trash", where the OP presumes everyone else is having the same problems.

Starting last night, in order to right-click a message in iMessage (for example, to copy/paste or use Tapback) on my MP 7,1 Big Sur 11.1, I have to use a 2 finger hard press rather than a 2 finger tap on my trackpad

I did not change any settings, this just began happening out of nowhere

Starting last week, I have more people I can't send messages to with an error of "not delivered." Man Apple has lost it when it comes to software.

I had two different group messages with iPhone and Android a few days ago where some of us iPhone participants received different Android users messages up to 8 hours later than the rest of the group.

My teens tell me I’m the only one using iMessage everyone else uses social media platform Apps. Ironically my son and daughter use two different platforms with their friend groups so it’s just messy.

Those who had any problem with iMessage, are had SIP disabled too? iMessage on my Mac works fine when i re enable SIP, but fails immediately when I disable it.

The Messages app as a platform for messaging is a F mess. Fragmented features (though almost totally fixed with Big Sur), and the notification bug! 🤦🏼‍♂️

Me I don’t have any issue with iMessage neither on iOS nor macOS. Maybe u messed up ur iCloud settings???

Maybe, but 1) how? and 2) if my iCloud settings are messed up, and than so are a whooooole bunch of other people’s.
